Ivančo Miroslav, 2019. Evaluation of breeding objectives of deer animals in the Vranov nad Topľou district in relation to damage caused by animals- Bachelor thesis. Zvolen: Technical university of Zvolen, Faculty of Forestry. 2019. 49 p.Aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze and evaluate the deer breeding in the Vranov nad Topľou district, in connection with the damage caused by animals created in the territory of the branch Vranov nad Topľu. After discussing the issue, we found that the main cause of damage caused by animals is mainly the number of animals. This leads us to evaluate the fulfillment of the plans for shooting in hunting grounds evaluated by us, specifically the hunting grounds in the Zámutov forestry unit. The result of evaluation is 97% of fullfilment of the plans for shooting on average. This result points out that management of hunting in the area of interest is at a sufficiently high level. This fact considering the expanse is also poited out by the minimal damage in the value 393 €. After evaluating the trophy quality in the hunting grounds, we found out that out of a total of 24 deer, 3 trophies were awarded a high CIC, which corresponds to the respective medals. Due to the fact that damage caused by animals is a very important problem of the present time in the Slovak Republic, we can, based on our results, rate the management in this area as exemplary one.
