The subject of this bachelor thesis is architectural, structural and static solution of the mountain hotel. The building is located in the northern part of Tatranská Lomnica. The building has one underground floor and four floors. Parking spaces for visitors and staff are on the field. The first underground floor consists of the technical background of the building, the saloon and part of the wellness area with swimming pool, sauna, hot tub, massage room and gym. On the first floor there is a saloon with dining room, kitchen and its technical equipment, ski room and administration. On the second to fourth floors there are ten apartments, each with a sanitary facility, one of which is designed for handicaped. Vertical communication consists of a staircase and two elevators that lead across all floors of the building. Layout follows the orientation of the compass. Apartments and saloons are oriented to the south. Communications, warehouses, sanitary facilities, technical equipment to the north, in the middle of the building and below ground level. The support system is a reinforced concrete combined wall- skeletal support system. The support system of the sloping roof consists of a wooden truss. Choosing the right combination of materials and their correct design is proven by thermal assessment that conforms to the required values.The aim of this project is to create a comfortable place for recreation in the mountain environment, using modern and traditional materials, combine them to create an energy-saving and low maintenance building that fits into the surrounding environment.
