Zvolen, LF, 2019.The aim of my work was to evaluate the roe deer quality and management in selected hunting subjects in Žarnovica. At first, it is important to describe roe deer as the species which lives in Žarnovica district and it is characterized by a certain ethology. For the evaluation of the actual condition of roe deer, there were used the hunting statistics results which are tabular and graphical processed. Consequently, conclusions and recommendations were adopted from these data. Roe deer rate from spring stem states slightly exceeds standard stem states. The gender and age class is not appropriate. The trophic quality is at a very low level. It is necessary to take steps for the improvement of the current situation.
