The topic of my thesis is the design of a multifunctional complex in Bratislava, part of Petržalka, which supports the area of the new center of this locality. The urban solution of my work is made up of mostly block buildings, which create spaces of different character. Objects define a clear street profile, make the area more attractive, and enrich it with new public spaces for public meetings. I tried to shape the objects themselves so that they naturally blend in with the surrounding buildings and at the same time, the solution enabled a smooth movement of pedestrians by the area being solved. The subject of the diploma thesis is mainly the objects along the Pajštunská Street in the northern part of the territory. The buildings are mostly of a residential character with multifunctional use of space in the parterre (1stfloor). I added a bookstore on the corner connected with the café, which is located on the second floor. The proposed objects are mostly conducted of five floors. The south facade facing the street is enriched with loggias that shape the façade's character, along with the facade cladding as well as balcony elements on the south and east sides of the building. Some buildings are enriched with more lucrative apartments on the sixth floor, which have terrace areas.
