The aim of my Master’s thesis was the creation of a place that would inspire its visitors, enhance their creativity and help people with new ideas. The main goal was preservation of genius loci of the estate and developing a harmony between architecture, nature and man. The proposed architecture works with a human being as an individual and takes into consideration different thinking, needs and uniqueness of each person. The design consists of a main building (Škára) where the creative rooms are situated. Some of these facilities are available for use to the public. Furthermore, the thesis proposes cabins as accommodations units suitable as a place for creative moments of an individual or relaxation. The design is completed by a sightseeing tower placed along an educational trail, present on the estate. The tower provides exceptional view of Banská Bystrica.
