The diploma thesis is aim on the construction of sorting line for lumber. The sorting line is designed for sorting of lumber behind the DKP6 double-disc angle sawmill. The work is divided into several main parts. Various types of lumber transport and ways of sorting of lumber in woodworking industry are mentioned in the introduction. In the next part of the thesis there is general information about double-disc angle sawmill DKP6 with definition of material parameters, determination of conceptual design of sorting lines for timber sorting and their advantages and disadvantages. The main part of the thesis is the engineering design and calculation of the sorting line, that represents an innovative solution of sorting behind the DKP6 angle sawmill. At the end of the thesis there is summarized knowledge gained during writing of the diploma thesis.
