PEKARA, Peter: Influence of commercial substrates and preparations based on useful fungifor seedlings growth of norway spruce (Picea abies [L.] Karst.) and european larch (Larixdecidua Mill.) [ Bachelor thesis ] – Technical University in Zvolen, The Faculty of Forestry,Department of Silviculture. Supervisor of bachelor thesis: Doc. Ing. Ivan Repáč, PhD.Degree of professional qualification: bachelors, in short „Bc“. Zvolen: LF TU, 2018.The goal of thesis is to assess the influence of commercial substrates from two producers incombination with preparations based on useful fungi (mycorrhiza and antagonistic fungus)for seedlings growth of norway spruce and european larch and comparing results betweendifferent combinations. The experiment consisted of 3 scenarios and 3 repetitions for each woody plant. An optionwithout application of useful fungi was used as control sample. The experiment containedtwo different substrates and for each was used variant with granulated mycorrhiza, withpreparation containing antagonistic fungi and pure substrate for control. Sowing were doneon uncovered substrates and grown for period of two years with both woody plants. Valueslike hight of overground part, thickness of root crown and length of root system weremonitored. Visually was also evaluated health condition of seedlings, because sowing werenot fertilized or chemically treated against fungi diseases for entire period. Fungipreparations showed in final values positive influence for each monitored growth indicatorsand seedlings grown with these preparations achieved better values, than those grown onpure substrate. Positively affected grow of seedlings for whole time period of growth, alsoconcerning fungi diseases (falling of seedlings).
