The aim of this bacherol thesis is to describe possibilities of using cable yarding systems when aproaching timber in educational logging because of lack of technologies – animal power and because of need to use modern and thrifty technology enabling the right realization of management of forests that is close to nature.Also a description of technical parametres for this purpose of designated cable yarding systems – made by LARIX and the other marks, too technological procedures at their use in before extract logging. Necessity to deal with the problematic of application of light cable yarding systems in loging is declared by the biggest forest manager Lesy SR (Forests of the Slovak republic). Because of continuing neglection of educational exploitation to 50 years and because of the lack of suitable cable yarding systems at the suppliers of work for Lesy SR and a constant decline of number of draught horses, the state enterprise obtained cable yardind system type LARIX Kombi H for its branch plant of the forest technique.
