Roman Rabenseifer Bratislava: SvF STU, 2019 The main obejcive of my diploma thesis Fire Station and Armory deals with the new building of a modern fire station with a large-scale garage for fire fighting equipment, specifically for eight fire trucks, including a free space, for vehicles of a voluntary fire department. The town of Turčianske Teplice was established as a realization destination. At the same time, the new building of the fire station will replace the original station in the city. The work contains a project of a fire station, which is divided into three dilatation units, the first is a part of the administration with one underground and two above-ground floors, the second is a part of the mentioned garages passing through two floors and the third is a training four-floor tower. The design of a new building of a fire station, which is designed as a project for building permit, contains architectural, structural and functional solutions of the given issue of typology, characterizes the design, material and technical solutions of the structures as well as processing individual details. The thesis also includes the assessed individual fragments of packaging and internal structures in terms of thermal-technical requirements, as well as the assessment of critical details of the packaging structure in terms of hygiene criteria. The annexes also describe the individual elements of the structures in the material listings, as well as the calculated heat demand for heating for part of the administration. The other two parts will be tempered. The outcome of the thesis is a project for the construction of a fire station and armory.
