The aim of my thesis is to elaborate the design of the restaurant building fromthe architectural and constructional point of view. The inspiration for this building wasa cafe in India, whose appearance reminds me of modern industrial style but also thechallenge of incorporating strict building rules in our territory and adapting thebuilding to our climatic conditions.The restaurant will be located on Cabajska Street on the edge of theneighbourhood Čermáň in Nitra. The building is a self-standing building, which consistsof two above-ground floors designed for the preparation of meals and serving, andone underground floor where there is space for parking for 13 passenger cars, boilerroom, air conditioning room and warehouse. On the 1st floor there is a kitchen, largebar area, sanitary facilities and a dining area, which is connected to the dining area onthe second floor creating a maisonette. In addition, there is a staff room andmanager's office on the 2nd floor. Part of the exterior of the building is a terraceseating, embedded in the ceiling of the basement on two sides of the buildingsurrounded by lake ponds.The roofing of the building is created by a single-shell, non-walking roofstructure made of trapezoidal sheets. The supporting system consists of vertical loadbearingstructures, which are made of reinforced concrete columns and reinforcedconcrete walls in the basement and HEA 280 profile steel columns on the above-groundfloors, and of horizontal load-bearing structures made of reinforced concrete slabfreeslab in the basement and HEA 280 profile steel supportings on the above-groundfloors.The restaurant will be connected to all installation networks.
