The diploma thesis examines the suitability of the use of harvesting and transport technologies in study area and compares them according to the criteria of other terrain and technological typifications used in the world. In the introduction, the author describes the concentration of wood and its distribution according to the method of realization. Author also describes the technologies applicable in the territory of the Slovak Republic and the suitability of their use in terms of soil and forest damage, terrain accessibility or approach distance. A separate subchapter is about detailed description of the most important technological typifications applicable in the conditions of the Slovak Republic. The thesis also presents data on the study area and its access to the forest transport network. At the end of the thesis are the results of the comparison of technological typification with the actually used technology and a proposal for the innovation of Slovak terrain and technological typification.
