In my thesis project of information center at Kollar Square, I tried to capitalize on gained knowledge and skills by studying architecture and urban design, by designing project ready to set up. This thesis of first stage of study of architecture documents two stages of project documentation, and those are: for the project area management project and for a building permit. By designing this project, my final thesis I tried to find the most ideal and comprehensive solution that would solve the potential problems of urban areas in this very important area. Just the task itself, in the name containing the word square reveals that the primary goal was creating a central urban setting. On the basis of documents and requirements from the beginning of task, I elaborated progressively wider urban context, then analysis of the area to very complex design of information center. Although the newly proposed building does not meet the habitat program requirements, but due to functional and town-benefit of the proposed architecture, it would be worth at least consideration for such a functional unit realized in the region Kollárovo námestie. The basic requirements for the processing of this project included the integration of functions such as information center, cafeteria, universal lecture hall and very necessary underground psrking in the architectural concept. Based on site location and importance of the urban integration in the busiest parts of Bratislava, I also wanted here to locate the gallery, whose function requires placement within the bustle of the city. Based on these suggestions, I developed the documentation at a later regional construction decision. The design concept of the architectural study, I tried to work with the park landscape, which was not suppressed by architecture and public space as such. In the second part of the thesis, which is directly related to the previous one, I focus on deeper issues at the project level for construction administration, specifying the architectural parts and construction details. Project during the entire process of has been consulted with specialist and includes their comments to the solution of the building. This work facilitates the ability to apply knowledge acquired during the study of architectural design and apply them to solve complex design of the building information center.
