In my diploma thesis, I deal with the transformation of the area "Dynamitka" -- Istrochem and urban radial Račianska cesta. The main task is to solve the traffic situation at the entrance to Bratislava and to create the principal crossing hub and transport organization. By the traffic change and creating the biaxal urban radial, I re-evaluate and increase the potentials and qualities of the area. I try to attack it by the natural factors and effects that force the area to the rapid transformation and urbanization. In developing the conceptual design, I follow intensive development, so I concentrate and increase urbanity of the designed area with potential for development in adjacent areas designated for urbanization. Thereby I try to increase efficiency of public transport. I transform carrier transport system of Bratislava into an integrated and mixed one. The station Vinohrady is becoming a key point where there is a noticeable change in traffic and its arrangement. Within the transport, the pedestrians and cyclists are highlighted, then comes the integrated public transport and finally the individual passenger transport. Research and variations of the transport system in the area of Račianska cesta are listed in Dissertation Seminar. Another key point to be solved is the area of Istrochem. It is provided with incredible open spaces, green areas but also areas designated for revitalization or demolition. With its fundaments it provides the district of Nove Mesto (BA III) with a potential to shape the environment and public spaces so that the entire urban area is a multifunctional space with hierarchically arranged areas. Due to the fact that the entire area is defined as an unstable area that is located inside the city, it makes the biggest problem of the area nowadays, but it also opens a new way to change Bratislava and complete the 'black hole'. The whole concept of urban design is based on the idea of making the city compact, and to create the visible hierarchy and of the major public spaces and core area, the completion of the local centers - that is, to a return to local patriotism and develop major green, recreational and leisure zones, such as: urban parks and gardens and alleys.
