The diploma thesis deals with hunting management of the population of deer in a Hunting Area J XXVIII Tribeč in the period of ten years. The first part of the thesis describes characteristics of the hunting area - regionalisation, description of the hunting borders, its localization and characteristics of the biotic and abiotic factors. The thesis evaluate the hunting management of the hunting area J XXVIII Tribeč, statistic documentation of plans and results of breeding and hunting of deer in the mentioned period as well as the trophy quality of deer. As the maintaining of good health of deer is one of the basic presumptions of prosperity and affectivity of the breeding, the part of the thesis is also analysis of the potential contagious and uncontagious diseases and failures of deer with the particular emphasis on diseases and pathological situation of the deer population in the researched area. On account of educational reasons we provide photo documentation and original maps. IN the final discussion of this diploma thesis the emphasis is placed on measures and improvement of management of deer on the hunting area J XXVIII Tribeč.
