The bachelor thesis deals with new trends in harvester technics. Harvester is a machine for cutting and treatment of wood. It is one of the modern forestry machines. The introductory part of the thesis discusses the history and development. The next part is divided to the manufacturer and the use of this more operating machine. In this work you will find the division of harvesters according to the chassis, performance, wood processing and location of the harvesting head and a specific description of the structural parts that make up this harvesting machine. The aim of the work is the design of the harvester based on modern technologies of world manufacturers. The design is based on optimizing the advantages and disadvantages of modern harvester technologies in order to streamline work with the harvester, reduce the impact of the harvester on the environment, improve operator comfort and machine design, while respecting safety and emission standards.
