Water reservoirs are strategic technical facilities providing the population with supplies of quality drinking water. The river basins of these facilities are subject to strict protection with significant restrictions on conventional land use. Despite these measures, we are witnessing inappropriate country management. This diploma thesis focuses on the determination of risk factors, their impact on water reservoirs and the valuation of these ecosystems producing drinking water.
