The aim of the work was to provide a comprehensive view of the duties and responsibilities of various state administration bodies in the field of prevention and management of the introduction and spread of selected invasive plant species in accordance with the NRSR Act no. 150/2019 Coll. on the example of mapping and managing the occurrence of invasive plants in the district of Žarnovica. Specifically, we focused on the occurrence of Fallopia japonica, Imaptiens glandulifera, Solidago canadensis and Heracleum mantegazzianum. In the practical part, we mapped the occurrence in selected municipalities, which verified the success of measures to prevent the spread. From selected municipalities, we received feedback on their activity in the process of removing invasive plants, performing a mechanical or chemical method. Finally, we compared the results of the mapping with theoretical data. The result is a confirmation of efforts to implement the selected law.
