The diploma thesis deals with the issue of economic efficiency of growing fast-growing trees. It captures the life cycle of a plantation from the selection of land and suitable woody plants, through care over the lifetime, to its disposal and land reclamation. At the same time, the work includes a summary of the legislative and soil-climatic conditions of plantation establishment, as well as the conditions for obtaining subsidies to support the cultivation of energy plantations and stands. The aim of the work was to evaluate the economic efficiency of the plantation in the cadastre of Ivančiná. The work includes a cost-benefit analysis. Based on dynamic methods, economic efficiency indicators were calculated and analyzed.
