The diploma thesis is looking for solution of problems of logging-transport erosion and damage of remaining stand. The priority objective was to determine the limits of soil and vegetation damage by the logging and transport process at a selected site with the character of educational intervention in the coniferous stand, using the technology of skidding with the help of a small forwarder from the Czech manufacturer Novotný, namely the LVS - 5. The thesis deals with issues and factors affecting damage such as woody composition, soil type, technique, technology, slope of soil soil moisture by foreign and domestic authors. We measured the average track depth, soil cover disturbance and the percentage of mechanical damage of the remaining forwarder plant by a detailed field measurement in the locality of ZVSL - Lesy Tisovníky in the locality Podjavor. As a result of field measurements, statistical analyzes and scientific interpretations and conclusions from other research, we found that the deployment of a smaller forwarder has less negative consequences for the remaining crop than the use of larger mechanization. In this case, the season, the slope of the stand, the current humidity of the stand, the skills and experience of the forwarder operator play a big role.
