In my dissertations thesis I am researching for the one-track vehicles in present and futuristic contexts, which I am, later on, specialized for urban bicycles. This dissertations thesis describes different types of one-track vehicles possible buyable on present market, the history of development, material possibilities, vehicle body analysis and also the analysis of urban transport. I do analyze the trends in design and the possible future development in this industrial design field. The result of my material, shape and functional research is the own design of the bicycle, which best describes my visions and perspectives. Bicycle is designed for the goup- urban people. The goal of my dissertation thesis is to connect the material, shape and constumer needs in one innovative and interesting concept.
