The task of this thesis is to design system of pedestrian routes and public spaces in the area of Bratislava, Old Town - West, which is typical for mountainous terrain. Based on the broader relations, I proposed the concept of pedestrian movement in the area. In the utmost, I used existing routes and connections, which I developed by creating new or reviving existing public spaces. To each space I assign different functions to create the most varied short-term recreation opportunities. Topic of the thesis finally culminates in the transformation of trolleybus depot into local center with square as a major public space in the area.
