Topic of my thesis is the design of apartment building with a commercial spaces for rent and an underground car park. Apartment building is located on free building plot at the intersection of Partizánska and SNP Street in Humenné. Plot is approved for residential buildings in the zoning plan. Building is L-shaped, because of nearby buildings and orientation of plot according to the cardinal points. Apartment house has three separate entrances. Building consists of basement designated for parking, ground floor with commercial spaces for rent, and four other floors with 19 flats. Large part of the roof will be used as a terrace. The object is based on the underlying strips. Bearing system of a reinforced concrete frame consists of columns, girders, plates and reinforcing cores around stairs. Smaller part of the roof is a flat roof without further use and the bigger part is purpose-built flat roof.
