The task of the thesis is to design of the intake structure for whitewater course in Košice. Above this section is situated a water reservoir Ružín II. The intake structure should ensure the design flow of 7 m3 * s-1 for whitewater course and safely transfer the rest of the flow through the inlet cap. The effective width of the bag is 16.0 meters , fall is the value of 1.33 m . Part of the intake structure is also the broth , which is at an elevation of 202.1 m n . m . It has the length of 6.0 m and the thickness of the slab is 0.8 m. Inlet cap will keep the level at elevation 204.00 m n . m at the access to the whitewater course . The volume of the bag is 27.8 meter3 and the perimeter is 7.1 meters . Maximum flow , which the cap is able to transfer, is 44 m3 * s -1. After exceeding this flow, the bag will gradually discharge to be fully reserved . After that, the whitewater course will already not be able to run the operation anymore . It will also dam the water level at elevation 204.00 for a safe access to the whitewater course. The course is 200 m long and 7 m wide. It is separated from the riverbed by boundary wall driven down to impermeable subsoil River Canyon.
