The theme of the bachelor thesis was to design a Mixed Use Building on Galvani Street in Bratislava, district Trnávka. Construction had to comply with the regulations of the area and also recommended an approximate built-up space that was given to the bachelor thesis. The proposal was based on the broader context and recognizes the typical characteristics of the territory. The first was preceded by itself analyzes provided further evidence necessary to establish a suitable solution concept the Mixed Use Building. The analysis was carried out on the ground and analyzing the traffic situation in consistently addressed territory, but of course also in a wider context. Analyzing the functional and compositional song was also very important because the findings on functional cartridge were designed around appropriate services, which were placed in the Mixed Use Building. Elevation composition surroundings, green areas, problems and potentials of the area were other determinants in the development of philosophy solutions. Libretto proposal envisaged the creation of semi-public inner block, which is facing away from the busy Galvani Street and provides its residents with some comfort. Addressed to the territory were fitted with three basic materials to form a semi-closed inner block facing away from the busy main road. Furthermore, these materials were height and functionally divided. Medium-floor material is rentable area of services and opens towards the main pedestrian tension. The two laterals of higher masses are located housing units. The interior of the apartment block is located playground, which is absent in the vicinity and it is also equipped inner block urban furniture.
