Karolína Tužinčinová: Mixed Use Building, Galvaniho street in Trnávka, Bratislava (Bachelor thesis) -- Slovak University of Technology, Faculty of architecture, Institute of Ecological and Experimental architecture, Supervisor: Ing.arch. Lukáš Šíp, PhD, range of bachelor thesis: Bachelor thesis consists of two parts - text section and drawing section. Text section includes an introduction and a core. The core of the text part represents an accompanying report from architectural studies for area management and detailed technical report of the project from building permission including detailed documentation. The bachelor thesis is supplemented by attachements, printed drawings in appropriate scale, presentation poster, physical model and seminary work. The aim of the thesis is an elaboration of proposal for Mixed Use Building in Galvaniho street in Bratislava. The building is situated on a building land bounded with access road from northeastern side and green areas from southwest side. The primary purpose of the Mixed Use Building is a housing function supplemented with commercial services situated on the first floor. The location of the house on the building land fits into typological sort of surrounded building. Facade of the house respects existing street line and the mass of a building is solved in rectangular geometric shape. The access to apartments and to commercial services are located in northeastern side within existing accessing road. The access to underground garage is located in nortwestern side and contains 50 parking places included 2 places for handicapped person. The building consists of 6 floors . All of the facades are set by large surface window. The stairs are located inside of the disposition of the house and are artificially ventilated and illuminated. There are 5 commercial shops on the first floor, one of them is intended as cafe house. Technological maintenance of the building is situated in the underground floor and on the first floor. The bachelor thesis also contains the design of the building and its architectural, dispositional, compositional and technical solution. The building and its immediate surrounding are solved in accordance with existing buildings and with STN 73 4301 standard.
