Mixed use building connects two function types -- residential function and services. Residential building has to satisfy requirements for living. The area of residential function has not to be disturbed by the other function of building. The first idea of my design was in urban plan. I designed three separate buildings, where two of them are connected by the first floor. These two buildings are "L" shaped. The main factors of my design were influenced by noisy road, shape of ground and the height of other buildings in the area. I decided to design a gallery residential building because of these factors. The third building completes this urban plan. I designed a underground garage under the whole site. The architecture of building is result of contrast between functions and the area around. The façade from the road is simple, with steel construction. On the other side is a complicated façade with ledges and a green terrace. The designed building has combined structural system, reinforced concrete columns with reinforced concrete walls around stairway. I designed base bath in the underground because of high underground water.
