ŠTRPKOVÁ, Nina: Household electrical appliance [Bachelor's thesis] -- Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Faculty of architecture; Institute of Design. -- Supervisor: Mgr. art. Martin Baláž, ArtD., Bratislava: STU, 2013, 29 pages and 15 pages of attachments The objective of this bachelor thesis was to create inovative and modern electronic device for household. In addition to practicality and functionality, a degree of futuristic challenge was to be considered in order to create new technology and method of usage. Thusfar, I designed device "Light Spy" intended for cleaning surfaces, which simoultanously detects hardly visible filth and stains with the help of unique UV light, designed for easy highlighting of various kinds of substances. The aim of this cleaning device is speedy washing of a surface without the necessity of using a mop or other complicated and lenghty methods. "Light Spy" consists of handle, rotary head, black light and attached, easily interchangeable sponge -- all in one piece, enabling rapid usage. In addition, the black light emphasizes surface and all places needing clean up become distincly visible, saving time and costs of cleaning.
