The main topic of my bachelor's and semestral studio is multifunctional apartment house on the boundary sites Ružinov and Vrakuňa at the Malodunajská street. The first idea was to design not only fully functional multifunctional apartment house, but also redesign and make the surrounding area look more attractive. This intervention will highlight the potentional of surrounding territory, it's water flow and cycle route linking the European importance which were the main determinants for site selection. The surrounding buildings are from 5 to 7 storeys high. Relatively large distance from the town center has the effect of a lower attractiveness of the site for housing. In the first part of this thesis the specified territory is resolved overally. The idea was to create a semi-public urban block, the ground-level floor will feature linked to the surrounding residential and multifunctional-residential buildings. Northwest side of the area bounded by a watercourse Malý Dunaj. In this part is built an bridge structure, which includes the restaurant and gym for movement-relaxing activity. The second part of the project is drawn in more detailed scale, selected only the chosen area of the proposed complex. Multifunctional residential housing has a predominant feature (2/3) and additional function rooms for rent (1/3). Operation of a building consists of two-storey parterre, which are rooms for rent. From 3rd to 5th floor are designed two sections. In one section, there are 20 residential units together. Living rooms in all apartments are oriented to the southwest, and every second floor has a balcony along its perimeter which offers panoramic views for the inhabitants.
