AbstractThe aim of the bachelor thesis was the complex design of a kindergarten with a focus on art in the Bratislava Petržalka district. Part of the assignment was to solve the problems of the given site and to create a space that is fully functional and beneficial for improving the level of life of the whole territory and its inhabitants and visitors.Territory in question has many potential but also namy problems. It is located in the area that has favorable development and potential to develop into the future. The land is now in a neglected condition and is not being used for a specific purpose. There are only walking routes and there is no landscaping. The land is covered with a grass and from the eastern side is surrounded by high greenery that extends to the Croatian shoulder.Part of the bachelor thesis is also a proposal to solve the area from an urban point of view. In the territory we are using hiking trails and therefore I decided to preserve them and support them by creating landscaping. By analyzing the development of the urban part, I concluded that there are no buildings for the cultural needs of the population and visitors in the vicinity of the land. Therefore, in my work, I decided to design a variable hall that is as a separate object and can also serve the public, but I also considered solutions in the area where I created a small sitting "amphitheater" originating in the territory to the Croatian shoulder where interesting views are available mainly from pedestrian routes. In the territory, there is a planned completion of the tram, which increases the territory's potential in terms of the traffic and frequencies of the area, but also increases the noise level and therefore some of the children need to be silenced and pushed further into the territory. In my work, I continue to focus on the design of kindergarten itself. It deals in detail with its architectural, building-technical and construction solutions. In sequential steps, I went through a part from the land-use project to detailed drawings for the construction process, along with a detailed solution of selected design details. The surroundings of the building are designed for relaxation and development of the cultural life of the locality and the building itself culminates in the traffic between the buildings where a pleasant sitting on the terraces is created. The object itself is designed to maximize the quality of the city's environment and to benefit not only by its architecture but also by its function for all inhabitants and visitors of the area.
