The diploma thesis deals with the issue of evaluating the product portfolio of a selected company. The main goal of the diploma thesis is to analyze the product portfolio in the selected company based on the current state of the researched issues and to propose recommendations for the progress of the company. In the first chapter we focus on the theoretical basis of the researched issues. We emphasize the essence and importance of strategic planning in the company, within which we focus on product portfolio analysis and customer analysis. The internal documentation of the company became the starting point for the processing of the analytical part of the work. Based on the input data, we processed BCG matrices for the company's strategic business units as well as for the customer portfolio. We interpreted the results at the end and drew a conclusion.
