The topic of the thesis is to assess the current state of Rimavska Sobota water duct system with regards to changes in water abstraction in given region. The first part of the thesis is aimed at assessing the current state of duct water system, especially in terms of pipe dimensions and pipe material, as well as the stand time of water in the pipes. The second part is focused on the design of new, more benefitial alternatives for the given pipe section with the aim to find the most optimal solution for improvements in technical state of pipe, water flow conditions, and also the water quality of Rimavska Sobota Water Duck System.
