The aim of our thesis is to evaluate the possibility of using a compact monitoring station from Magnasci to monitor the air quality in the field. At the beginning of the work, we processed an overview of air monitoring issues. In the following sections we have described the principle of operation of the selected device model. Subsequently, we conducted a pilot measurement using calibration gas for selected pollutants and analysed these results. We also obtained data on pollutant concentrations at the selected monitoring station operated by SHMU and evaluated them in the context of the parameters reported by the equipment manufacturer. From the processed data, we evaluated that the selected model of the monitoring station can detect air pollution by PM2.5 and PM10 particulate matter from very low concentrations, but could not detect SO2 and NO2 emissions even in a relatively polluted area.
