The bachelor work deals with the analysis of the most common chainsaw failures. The thesis includes a complex assessment of individual parts of chainsaw and its actual state. The beginning of the thesis introduces the history of chainsaw from its beginning up to these days construction of saws. The thesis also includes the categorization of chainsaws acoording to its use, power, weight etc. The main part of the thesis deals with the analysis of chainsaw failure rate and its reliability. The subjects of comparison were indivudual brands of chainsaw producers such as (STIHL, HUSQVARNA, JONSERED, DOLMAR). The final conclusion shows the tabular and graphical evaluation of processed knowledge and topics of individual chapters.
