The assignment of the bachelor thesis was to process design, project for areamanagement and project for building permit with deepening parts and the themewas ambassador’s residence. Estate for the building was assigned in Bratislava, inpart called Bôrik on the street Jančova. Surrounding of the street is significant withembassies of various countries. Estate is in sloping terrain and by that was acquiredpanoramic view of Austria and river Danube. Sloping terrain gives us options ofinteresting architectural design. The residence was supposed to fulfil variousconditions: social and representative function, function of consular authority orworkplace, function of living for ambassador and his family and function foraccommodation for guests and employees. The important part of the design was toaccomplish fact, that higher mention functions should not disturb each other, thatthey should by designed logically and practically, whether for ambassador,employees or guests. Designed are two objects, the main object of residence ispartially embedded in to slope on the north part of the estate, second object ofconsular authority is situated on terrain and is communicating with the street. Inresidence part is designed accommodation for ambassador, accommodation forguests, representative part, relaxation part and technical background. In object ofconsular authority is designed workplace for handling requests, office and twoaccommodations for employees. Objects were designed to fulfil operational,functional and aesthetic requirements of the issue.
