The given assignment is focused on revitalization and revival of the Kollarovo square in Bratislava. The current state of the square is not satisfactory, it serves mainly for transit - people have no reason to stay there longer and its technical condition is insufficient. The square has an ideal location in the city center but does not make use of its full potential. The construction of an underground car park is also planned in the coming years, which will help to improve the use of the square and provide a chance for changes. In my proposal l include this change, too. Furthermore, the goal is to give the square its function and overall improve the public space. I tried to create a pleasant space for people to stay, so that the square does not only fulfill its transit function. By redirecting traffic, revitalizing the greenery, addition of activities in the square and making it more attractive, I want to make the square a place of relaxation and entertainment for both permanent visitors and occasional ones.
