The aim of this bachelor thesis is to bring a proposal of a complex renewal of Kollárovo Námestie - an important and neglected public space on the edge of the historical center of Bratislava. The proposal envisages the reduction of car traffic in favor of pedestrians and public transportation, with the creation of high-quality areas and new greenery, with the emphasis on quality and not just quantity. Furthermore, the proposal seeks to create a easy to orientate and secure place that is secure, lively and stimulates social interaction.
