The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to design and evaluate the investment project of establishing a fictitious company called TECHNIK s. r. o .. Based on the analysis of the investment activity of the company will be proposed options to increase the efficiency of financing, which will ensure the growth of business performance. When implementing the bachelor thesis, respectively. In achieving the goal, we will use several methods. At the beginning, it will make it easier for us to look at the issue of investment efficiency in a small medium-sized enterprise, analysis of professional literature, whether from print or internet sources. Further, we will come to a general generalization of the knowledge from the field. We will also rely on static, dynamic and complementary project evaluation methods. The bachelor thesis is divided into 4 chapters. In the first part we deal with the theoretical aspects of the issue related to small medium-sized enterprise, investment and project evaluation. In the second chapter, we will outline the primary goal of our work and also the sub-goals that will help us to achieve the main goal. The third chapter deals with the methodology of bachelor thesis, resp. specific methods used at work. The fourth and last chapter will consist of the very design of the investment project for the establishment of a fictitious company, the evaluation of the financial-economic analysis and the assessment of the economic efficiency of the company.
