The aim of the diplmona thesis was to propose the production of organic fertilizer by using waste from biogas station - digestate, which is produced during biogas production. The thesis is systematically divided into two parts. The first part deals with theoretical knowledge about innovation, innovation process and types of innovation. The second part is focused on fertilizers themselves, their production and types of fertilizers. In second part of the thesis we deal with the overall production process of organic fertilizer, the right amount of combining the two input raw materials and, last but not least, the budget needed to implement the project. The conclusion of diploma thesis is dedicated to evaluation of elaborated innovative proposal of organic fertilizer production and evaluation of the positives for the company. The produced organic fertilizer offers an expansion of the company's product portfolio as well as solving the problem of storing waste from biogas production. The proposed way of implementing the project is profitable, subject to the requirement to obtain a non-repayable financial contribution.
