The diploma thesis focuses on description and characterization of Kráľova Lehota vil-lage, in order to design a local territorial system of ecological stability. The thesis consists of the description, characteristics and importance of the territorial system of ecological stability in Slovakia and in the surrounding countries. Territorial system of ecological sta-bility is currently an important element of complex nature conservation, biodiversity conservation, rational use of natural resources and sustainable management in the country in a man – nature relationship. The main topic of the thesis is the analysis and synthesis of the natural conditions, the present landscape structure, the positive and negative ele-ments and phenomena in the country, including the field survey of the state of the territory. The final result of the thesis is the proposal of a local territorial system of ecological stabi-lity for the cadastral territory of Kráľova Lehota, with a concrete design of elements of this system of ecological stability – local biocentres, bio-corridors and interaction elements.
