Masters thesis, Technical Univerzity in Zvolen, Faculty of Forestry, 2020, 76 p.Goal of this master’s thesis is utilization of access to the area of Municipal forests of Dobšiná limited by forest transport network for the purpose of elevating recreation in this area. Main idea of this thesis is to make new opportunities for the citizens of town, for families with children, as well as for individuals of all age, and of course for the visitors of Dobšiná. City is situated in an environment, which has atmosphere and natural beauties with lots of opportunities and alternatives for sport and recreation.The master’s thesis contains detailed survey and description of the territory of Municipal Forests of Dobšiná limited. Described and mapped forest routes, this is roads in category 1L, 2L and 3L, that overall length is 198,5 km, with the density of 30,2 m.ha-1. Tourist trails and bike trails, that can be found in the area with overall length of 122,4 km. Also, there are mapped natural phenomenon such as caves, prospects, nature trails and many other attractions of the area. After mapping of the area, the goal was to find right place for next development and improvement of recreation in the surrounding area. Result of this process is design of two bike trails (overall length of 16,3 km), horsetrack (10,9km) and design of family trail (2,9 km). Master’s thesis contains design of recreational playground in area of Pingarty and also designs of small forestry buildings needed for improving of comfort of visitors of the forest such as benches, shelters and information boards.
