The bachelor's thesis is aimed to elaborate climate characteristics in national nature reserve Boky (Zvolenská kotlina). Data used in the thesis were taken between 2008–2019 with weather stations of Technical University in Zvolen in localities Boky Juh and Boky Sever. These localities are on opposite cardinal points and also represent different vegetative degree. Meteorological quantities were monitored, such as air temperature, global radiation, relative air humidity and rainfall. The result of the thesis is drawing up of monitored climate characteristics, such as annual average air temperature, average air temperature in growing season, course of temperature indicators and precipitation. It also describes process of global radiation and relative air humidity. Monthly and annual air temperature along with monthly and annual precipitation were compared with long-term average (1961–1990). Progress of average annual air temperature as well as of temperature in growing season in monitored period of years 2008-2019 was noticeably increasing. The results clearly show that temperature differences between the monitored areas grow smaller in recent period of time. The amount of tropical days increased, contrarily the amount of frosty days decreased.
