The aim of the diploma thesis was to examine and compare the ergonomics of the company´s workplace. The compared state was before and after workplace automation. In this diploma thesis, screening evaluations of the operator were made on the basis of legal regulations and standards. The measurement of working positions took place via the mobile ergonomic application CERAA. The workplace that was examined showed that employees were exposed to an increased risk of health damage, especially the spine, before the introduction of automation. The results of the evaluation of work positions after the change to automatic workplace did not indicate any risk of increased physical load of operators.
