The need to have accurate and up-to-date information on forest resources has been rising rapidly in recent years. For this reason, it is necessary to have a quality and big enough forest road network. This work contains an evaluation of measurements performed in the village Vígľaš on a forest road, using a mobile laser system Leica Pegaus Two. Measurements were performed on three different surfaces (asphalt, panel and basalt cubes). The result of measurement was a point cloud, which we processed in ArcGIS. In this program, we made a digital terrain model using the Average interpolation method. This method of the program calculated height of individual points, which we then compared with the control points. We evaluated the resulting differences using statistical software STATISTICA 12 and Excel. We determined the accuracy of the point cloud of the created system. The data processing procedure is detailed in the work methodology.
