The life of each of us is dendenly influenced by various substances without realizing it. One of the many such substances are Gases Which one of them are essential for all living organisms and also include gases that support burning. One of these substances is oxygen that is mainly an atmosphere. In gaseous phrase forms, together with other substances, a comprehensive system of free moving particles. The reaction of specific substances with gas can form various compounds which are very dangerous for humans and the environment. Gases utilization is diverse. Great emphasis need to be asked on safety precautions when handle them. A small hesitation or unprofessional application can lead to an accident at worst to disaster. The aim of this bachelor thesis was to characterize the properties of gases, such as their behavior depending on temperature and pressure. These factors have the greatest influence on the behavior of the gases with a potential hazard of fire or explosion. The transport of gases by road is subject to the regulations of the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR), which is defined in this work. The work deals with the method of gas labeling within the meaning of this Regulation, the labeling of vehicles, knowledge of the safe storage pressure bottle and handling them.
