This work is dealing with the existing prefabricated concrete residential block in the suburb part of the city Bratislava, Petržalka. The main goal was to develop the possible solution to transformate the original form. The type of the prefabricated system is BA-NKS (P1.14), close tothe new residential complex Petržalka city and planned tramway from the city centre. In the proposed urban design I tried to connect the building with the existing structure. The main problem in the area is parking. Lack of the parking places is affecting the surrounding enviroment. After the urban analysis we found two possible places to situate parking houses, which will fit in the original urban structure as well as create new high quality structure. The most radical intervention to is opening the park and connecting it to the reformed square. This makes a dark and closed park being more available. For this reason one section of the building is demolated and completely next part with the connection is created. This also brings a modern element to the structure. In the rest of the original appartments the changes according the main statical principes are created. In the last levels the approach of removal instead of addition was preffered. So the dark and closed park is not overshadowed. The removal of the original construction allowed to create terraces to the park and on the south facade of the building.
