The aim of this paper was to design a revitalisation of a panel building complex in Bratislava, city borough Petržalka near a new building Petržalka city in contact with the Croatian distributary. A part of this paper is the definition of the basic terms of the given issue, analysis of the current problems and their state, the progress of resolving the problem and the design of the area resolution. Design fundamental is used from sources of Slovak and foreign designs of the same theme. The inspiration was revitalisations of panel blocks in France from architects Lacaton and Vassal or a renewal of the block of flats into a Slovak atelier GutGut in Rimavská Sobota. The main purpose of the renewal of the slab block was to improve the living, extend and improve the accommodation standard with the use of the newest trends in housing and recent progressive materials. Apart from the revitalisation, the design is focused on the problems with static transport and the lack of parking space. Unresolved public area is another subject of the design in relation to parterre and vicinity.
