The diploma thesis deals with issues of ecosystem services and their evaluation. In the light of possible methodological approaches to the evaluation of ecosystem services, we are now presenting a methodology for the evaluation of selected ecosystem services based on the principle of Landscape Ecological Planning (LANDEP).The theoretical framework of our diploma thesis for the evaluation of this selected ecosystem services a geosystem and it´s interpretation of purpose of landscape.The main theme of identified and localized synthetic components of landscapes structure (abiotic and landscape ecological complexes) which are located in the cadastral area Vršatské Podhradie and it´s enviromental quality, regenerative and ecological stability of the landscape. To determinate landscape potential we used EC by certain criterions. The results of the the thesis presented in text and graphic part (16 output maps).
