The aim of my work is to design and then produce a prototype of lifestyle backpack designed especially for young generation of users, with an emphasis on practicality, ergonomics as well as visual side of product. Backpack is designed with regard to the contemporary young people lifestyle which complements and makes their daily life simpler. Current fashion accessory, backpack, in this project becomes a symbol of present days of developed society - period full of stress, career hunting, chrematistic, time of mass, advertising, and last but not least, the gradual loss of individual identity. Bachelor work consists of the inspiration part where the designer product is perceived purely visual as a shape idea, part of the conceptual and symbolic focus and of the part of detailed backpack description, in terms of function and the exact dimensions and materials specification. Also included is a detailed pictorial documentation accompanying search as well as product development phase and the realized final model.
