The task of the Bachelors's thesis is to design a contept for reconstruction of Svätotrojičné námestie in Krupina. The main problem of the square is the transit traffic passing through the square. My concept is based on traffic declession, parking reduced into parking houses near the square, reducing the greenery and other sculptures by remainig only one column and few tree alleys. My design is characteristic for its square motive, which is based on an orthogonal square shape. Expressed in the pavement squares are arranged in a regular grid, which is diagonally distorted, indicating the movement of pedestrian dynamics. Small architecture as well as the designed urban elements has the spirit of minimalism to achieve the ascetic look of a medieval square, but with a modern expression.
