The subject of my final Diploma Thesis is the design and complex solution of selected part of the interior in SPORT AND WELLNESS CENTER in SENEC, which was my pre-diploma work in the subject Ateliér III in winter semester 2017/2018. The assignment of the pre-diploma project was at its own discretion, but it had to be a civilian building. The Thesis is divided into text and plan parts. The first part of the plan parts contains selected drawings from the pre-diploma project, due to the introduction of the Diploma Thesis into the context of the architectural study of the whole designed object. The Sports and Wellness Center Senec is located in Slnečné jazerá Juh (South) in Senec. There was a hotel in this particular building site, after demolation it was replaced by an improvised outdoor beach volleyball court. As it is a public building, it is important to have access to it, which is ensured by the proximity of a large parking lot as well as a railway station and bus stops within a walking distance of up to 5 minutes. The typological suitability of land use promotes the proximity of other sports areas, such as the football stadium or the volleyball hall. The aim was to create a multifunctional sports hall, which has the conditions for sufficient use in this area associated with the recreational function of wellness, as we are located in the holiday resort of the Slnečné jazerá Resort. The location gets the added value even during the summer season. Sportsmen, holidaymakers and residents of Senec are given the option of another feature in the Slnečné jazerá, which are still popular destinations also for foreign guests. When designing an architectural expression, care must be taken to integrate it into the environment. Despite the fact that the building itself is a large mass, thank to the shapes and material, the building cooperates with nature around. An important role in this case in particular is the wooden tiling of the entire building. Further, the whole object adds some more seriousness and importance to the southern side of the lakes, which is far less attractive in terms of equipment and possibilities than the "North" (the northern side of the Slnečné jazerá).The building as a whole is a combination of 3 functions - sports hall, wellness and restaurant. Although these functions function together in the symbiosis, they should also be thought of as places, that can work independently. The restaurant does not have any internal traffic connection with the other two, the sports hall and wellness communicate with a common reception. However, there is no other traffic crossover. As it was a large object, I chose parts of the wellnes interior in the final Diploma Thesis, namely on the first above-ground floor entrance hall - foyer with reception and on the second floor above the 3 parts of wellness which are the biggest, the central entrance area with saunas, café and spa area.
